Delete your Spicy Browser data
This page explains how to delete your data from Spicy Browser, the Android app made by Buzzyto OÜ (Estonia). The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Delete the data on your phone
Almost everything Spicy Browser keeps stays on your phone: bookmarks (including hidden bookmarks), open tabs, settings, the ad blocker’s counter, the encrypted DNS cache, and the cookies, cache and history that every browser keeps. You can delete it yourself at any time:
- Open Spicy Browser and tap Clean in the bottom bar (or Settings → Clear browsing data…).
- Choose what to delete - history, cookies, cache, open tabs - and tap Clear.
- To delete everything, including bookmarks and settings, clear the app’s storage in Android Settings → Apps → Spicy Browser → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
This data is never sent to us, and Android cloud backup is turned off for the app.
Ask us to delete data we hold
- Email office@buzzyto.com with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Tell us what you want deleted. If it is about failed proxy logins, include the IP address you used and the approximate time.
- We reply within 15 days of receiving your request and tell you what we deleted, or that we hold nothing linked to you.
What we hold, and for how long
- Sites you open through the proxy, and your IP address. Not stored: our servers hold them only in working memory while the connection is open, so there is nothing to delete.
- Failed proxy logins (time, error code, IP address). Deleted automatically after no more than 7 days; on request, we delete them sooner.
- List of blocked addresses (after repeated failed logins). Kept in the server’s working memory for one hour, then it ends by itself.
- Emails you send us. Kept for up to 12 months after our last reply; on request, we delete them sooner, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Server statistics. Numbers per server only, with no IP addresses or sites, kept for 30 days. Nothing in them is linked to you.
There is no account, so there is no account to delete. Because we don’t keep data linked to you, in most cases the only thing we can delete is the emails you sent us.
