Terms of Service

Effective 2026-10-14 · Last updated 2026-10-14

These terms are an agreement between you and Buzzyto OÜ (registry code 17484090, Vesivärava tn 50-201, 10152 Tallinn, Estonia; “we”, “us”) about the Spicy Browser app for Android (“the app”), the optional proxy service we operate for the app (“the proxy”) and this website. You can read these terms at any time in the app under Settings > Terms of Service and at spicybrowser.com/terms. The first time you turn on the proxy, the app asks you to accept these terms and the Privacy Policy, and the proxy turns on only after you accept. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Google Play’s terms also apply to how you download the app. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. The app is not intended for children.

2. What the app offers

The app is a free web browser with an ad blocker, encrypted DNS and an optional proxy. Some features, such as the proxy and the ad blocker, are switched on for a limited time and can be switched on again. We may change the app over time, for example to add or improve features, to fix problems, for security reasons or because the law changes. This can include changing how long features stay on or removing a feature. A change to how long a feature stays on applies the next time you switch it on, not to a session that is already running.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial browsing. You must not use the app or the proxy to:

  • do anything that is illegal in the country you are in, in Estonia, or in the country where the proxy server you use is located;
  • access, store or share child sexual abuse material or any other content that sexually exploits minors;
  • send spam, commit fraud, phishing or identity theft, or distribute malware;
  • attack, scan, probe or overload other systems or networks, or get into them without permission;
  • infringe copyright or other rights of others, or harass, threaten or stalk anyone;
  • send automated traffic through the proxy, such as bots, scrapers, credential stuffing, or click or ad fraud;
  • overload or disrupt our servers, or use them in a way that degrades the service for other users;
  • extract the proxy access details from the app, share them, or use the proxy outside the app;
  • copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

How we protect the service

The proxy only passes your traffic on. We don’t choose, check or change what you send or receive, we don’t monitor it, and we don’t keep logs of it (see the Privacy Policy).

To stop abuse, keep the service working for everyone, comply with the law or an order of a competent authority, or meet the rules of the companies that host our servers, we may:

  • block connections to certain ports, addresses or types of traffic, for example ports used to send email spam;
  • limit the speed, data volume or length of proxy sessions;
  • suspend or stop the proxy, for all users or for certain countries or networks, temporarily or permanently.

These measures are automatic network rules. They are not decisions about you or your content: the proxy has no accounts and keeps no logs of your traffic, so we cannot single out one user, and a measure affects every user in the same situation. If you think a measure is wrong, write to office@buzzyto.com and we will answer.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the app and for the sites you visit. Laws about proxies and online content differ from country to country. Make sure that using the app and its proxy is lawful where you are.

Some countries restrict proxies and similar services or require them to be registered. We can’t give you advice about the law where you are. You are responsible for the content you access, download or share through the app.

5. The service is provided “as is”

We work to keep the app and the proxy reliable, but we can’t promise that they will always be available, fast, or work with every site or network. The proxy may be slow, unavailable or blocked by your network. It changes the IP address that websites see, but it does not make you anonymous, it does not add its own encryption, and we can’t promise that it will give you access to any particular site or content.

The ad blocker uses lists of known ad, tracker and harmful addresses. It will not block every ad, tracker, malware, phishing or scam site, so it does not replace your own care or security software. It may also sometimes block something a site needs; you can allow such a site in the app.

We provide the app free of charge and “as is”. This does not affect the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

6. Other people’s content and services

Websites, search engines and DNS providers you reach through the app are run by others. We are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your data.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its name and its logo belong to Buzzyto OÜ. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app under these terms for as long as you use it in line with them. Open-source components and filter lists included in the app are licensed under their own terms; you can see them, with their copyright notices, in the app under Settings > Open-source licences.

8. Liability

We are fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited or excluded. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

In all other cases, if we breach these terms through slight negligence, we are liable only for damage that was typical and foreseeable when you started using the app, and only if we breached an obligation that is essential for using the app as described in these terms. Because the app is free and for personal, non-commercial use, we are not liable in those cases for lost profit, lost business, or loss of data that you could have prevented by keeping your own copy.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

We may stop offering the app or the proxy. We will announce this in the app and on this website at least 30 days in advance, unless we have to stop sooner because of the law, an order of an authority, a security problem or abuse that we cannot stop in another way; in that case we will tell you as soon as we can. Section 3 describes how we may restrict or suspend the proxy to stop abuse.

Sections 7, 8 and 10 continue to apply after you stop using the app.

10. Governing law, disputes and language

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim against us in the courts of Estonia (Harju County Court) or in the courts of the country where you live, and we can bring a claim against you only in the courts of the country where you live. If you are not a consumer, the courts of Estonia (Harju County Court) have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you live in the EU, you can also ask the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, www.ttja.ee) or a consumer dispute body in your country to help settle a dispute. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly by email.

These terms are written in English. If we publish a translation, the translation is for convenience, except where the law of the country where you live requires a version in its language to apply; in that case that version applies to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when there is a valid reason: a change in the law or a decision of an authority, a new or changed feature of the app or the proxy, a security or abuse problem, or to make the terms clearer. For every change we update the dates at the top of this page.

If a change is to your disadvantage, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, in the app and on this page. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the app and uninstall it before the change takes effect. If you keep using the app after that date, the new terms apply to you.

Changes that the law requires or that are urgently needed to stop abuse or protect security can take effect sooner; we will tell you about them as soon as we can.

12. Other terms

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over the app, as long as your rights under them are not reduced; we will tell you if this happens. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as network outages, actions of authorities, or failures of data centres or hosting providers. If we don’t enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms, and complaints about measures described in section 3: office@buzzyto.com.

Contact point under the EU Digital Services Act. Authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services and users of the proxy can contact us at office@buzzyto.com (Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). You can write to us in English.
